Integrated advice: our strength
Since the start of our integrated approach to accommodation projects in 1992, we have developed our concept into a professional, full service range of real estate services. We can help you with all possible expertise in the field of accommodation and real estate. This has resulted in a more than successful accommodation project for many a client by now.
We have divided our services into two business units within our company: Project Management & Design and Building & Workplace Consultancy. However, as our client, you will hardly notice at all with which branch you are dealing: It’s all about the optimum results after all! Based on our experience, we obviously know in advance in which phases of a project the know-how in question must be deployed. It is a well planned cooperation between professionals, leading to your success.
CB Richard Ellis
In 2006 Rietmeijer became a part of CB Richard Ellis, the largest real estate advisor in the world with a listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Each and every day we notice the important added value for our clients of our full service range of accommodation and real estate services. It is an integrated concept otherwise unheard of in the Netherlands.

Together with each CBRE department, we offer integrated services to the market for both occupiers and investors. Combining in-depth market expertise and the commercial property know how of CBRE with the technical and qualitative approach of Rietmeijer leads to advice of different dimensions. In fact, we think that no real estate advisor could do without this kind of knowledge of workplace innovation, interior design, project management or technical building specifications.
Commercial versus Creative
With all the tangible advantages offered by our integrated approach, we certainly do not forget the field of tension which will always exist between the commercial, rational considerations in a project and the creative, ‘soft’ factor, which is inextricably bound up in design and architecture assignments. It is particularly that field of tension which results in our fantastic, fitting projects. We respect each others’ disciplines but also passionately defend our own input in the project. We only make concessions when they are for the greater benefit of our client. In some cases we adapt in a commercial sense and in others, we adjust the creative solution. It always results in fireworks: sometimes between colleagues who want the utmost, and eventually always in the project results!
Independence and integrity
Legislation, business ethics, transparency… Concepts we applied since our foundation in 1992 and which are essential to us in our daily work. It is therefore self-evident to be completely open about our fee structure. Our hourly budget agreed with you beforehand is a ‘capped’ budget in most cases, and is invoiced to you on the basis of hours worked. Suppliers' discounts or commissions are passed on directly to you and are included in the project budget, an update of which can be provided for you at any point during the process.

We are responsible for assessment of zoning plans, we request permits and supervise you through the maze of regulations which you must meet in accommodation and real estate processes. Equally important for you, of course, is that we always work exclusively for our clients, and will directly avoid any form of conflict of interests.
Continuously developing
Our working field affords space for new developments. The demand for sustainable applications, the range of technical innovation available, and especially our team’s drive to move on from the tried and tested, instead daring to step forward, stimulates us to stay continuously in development. Take note, we’re not adventurers looking for excitement. It’s not just all about being ‘new’. We care about product improvement, designed to reduce risks, create more beautiful interiors, gain better insights, in other words to improve the quality, for the benefit of your projects!
Sustainable solutions
Sustainability starts here… Limiting waste, recycling, energy savings, we do so concertedly in our own daily business. An even greater impact is gained, however, by our initiatives to support clients in sustainable solutions for their real estate or their own accommodation. What is your existing situation? What are your ambitions? How can we provide solutions to meet those ambitions? Our role in this is to put the subject on the agenda, to jointly determine a direction and then to work out technical and financial aspects in concrete terms. Opting for ‘greener’ building technology, for less environmentally harmful building and construction materials, for ‘cleaner’ means of maintenance: We're all in favour, how about you?
